As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainable skill development and community engagement, the Federal Skill Academy (FSA), Kochi, organized its Alumni Meet on Saturday, 7th February 2026, at the Cardinal Parecattil Memorial Renewal Centre, Kochi. The event witnessed the participation of 238 alumni, serving as a platform to review outcomes & celebrate success stories.

Objectives of the Alumni Meet

• To assess the long-term impact of CSR-supported skill development initiatives
• To strengthen alumni engagement and mentorship networks

 

Key Programme Highlights

Leadership Presence

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the inaugural address by Mr. Shaji K V, Vice President & Head – CSR Department, Federal Bank, who highlighted the importance of CSR initiatives and their sustainability. This was followed by an address by Mr. K. V. Vinayarajan, Chief Executive Officer, SB Global Educational Resources Pvt. Ltd., who emphasized the role of industry-aligned training in enhancing employability outcomes and strengthening skill development initiatives.

A curated video presentation showcased alumni success stories, complemented by direct testimonials from alumni. These narratives demonstrated measurable outcomes in employability, income enhancement, and career progression resulting from FSA’s CSR-supported training interventions.

 

Industry & Stakeholder Engagement

The presence of representatives from diverse industry sectors enabled meaningful interactions between alumni and potential employers, trainers, and mentors, strengthening placement and upskilling pathways.
