As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainable skill development and community engagement, the Federal Skill Academy (FSA), Kochi, organized its Alumni Meet on Saturday, 7th February 2026, at the Cardinal Parecattil Memorial Renewal Centre, Kochi. The event witnessed the participation of 238 alumni, serving as a platform to review outcomes & celebrate success stories.

Objectives of the Alumni Meet

• To assess the long-term impact of CSR-supported skill development initiatives
• To strengthen alumni engagement and mentorship networks

Leadership Presence

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the inaugural address by Mr. Shaji K V, Vice President & Head – CSR Department, Federal Bank, who highlighted the importance of CSR initiatives and their sustainability. This was followed by an address by Mr. K. V. Vinayarajan, Chief Executive Officer, SB Global Educational Resources Pvt. Ltd., who emphasized the role of industry-aligned training in enhancing employability outcomes and strengthening skill development initiatives.

The Federal Skill Academy (FSA), Kolhapur, proudly hosted its Alumni Meet on Saturday, 17th January 2026 at Balaji Garden Hall, Kolhapur. The gathering was a resounding success, bringing together 205 alumni who reunited to celebrate shared journeys and strengthen professional networks.

Key Highlights:

The program was graced by a Presidential Address from Mr. Merajkhan Pathan (Regional Head, Federal Bank) and an inspiring keynote speech by Mr. Jaydeep Chougule (Chairman, SMAK).

The agenda featured a journey presentation of FSA by Mr. Dhiraj Desai, heartfelt experience sharing by alumni, and a warm welcome address by Mrs. Komal.

Representatives from SMAK and diverse industries joined the event, creating valuable opportunities for alumni to connect with leaders and skill trainers.

The day concluded with informal networking over lunch, fostering meaningful interactions among alumni, industry partners, and bank officials.

Impact:

Our recent Advanced Microsoft Excel Training Program was a resounding success, designed specifically for professionals eager to elevate their Excel skills. Over the course of the program, participants delved into advanced Excel functionalities, focusing on efficiency, data analysis, reporting, and automation. Key Learnings:

• Advanced Calculations
  1. 1. Participants mastered complex formulas such as INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, and nested IF statements.
     2. They utilized array formulas for powerful data calculations.
     3. The program included performing What-If analysis with Goal Seek and Scenario Manager.
• Dynamic Formatting
  1. 1. Conditional formatting was used to highlight trends, key values, and outliers.
     2. Custom cell formatting was explored based on specific conditions.
     3. Participants created visually compelling reports using data bars, colour scales, and icon sets.
• Advanced Data Analysis
  1. 1. PivotTables and Pivot Charts were created and analyzed for in-depth data insights.
     2. Data Models were built, and advanced analysis was performed using Power Pivot.
     3. Statistical analysis was conducted using Excel's built-in tools.
• Dashboard Reports
  1. 1. Interactive and visually appealing dashboards were designed.
     2. Various chart types, including combo charts, sparklines, and geo-maps, were mastered.
     3. Real-time, up-to-date reports were generated to provide quick insights.
• Automation of Tasks
  1. 1. Time-saving shortcuts were learned to navigate Excel more efficiently.
     2. Task reminders and alerts were set up for streamlined workflows.
